The UFI Group will supply<strong> the complete oil module <\/strong>with screw-in cartridges using <strong>UFI DURAFILTER <\/strong>technology for the fine filtration part as well as <strong>original equipment <\/strong>on one of the <strong>Russian colossal Kamaz\u2019s <\/strong>flagship engines, the highly successful <strong>V8 series for the Euro 5 5490 model<\/strong>. This is in addition to the pre-filter and diesel filter<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">,<\/span> which are already supplied as original equipment on the same vehicle, UFI Filters will now offer the entire liquid filtration range.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>dual oil filtration system supplied by UFI <\/strong>enhances the potential of the Kamaz engine thanks to the combined effect of the <strong>two full flow &amp; bypass filters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The full flow oil filter is available in the Aftermarket catalogue under code <strong>UFI 23.614.00 <\/strong>and has a filtration efficiency of 99.5% at 30 micron in line with ISO 4548\/12. It is defined as \u201cfull flow\u201d because it intercepts most of the oil to be filtered and<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">,<\/span> thanks to the high permeability of the filtering media, guarantees low pressure drops.<\/p>\n<p>The full flow filter is supplied together with the <strong>bypass filter, <\/strong>with <strong>UFI DURAFILTER <\/strong>technology <strong>&#8211; Aftermarket code 23.288.00 &#8211; <\/strong>which has high resistance to chemicals and heat. UFI DURAFILTER technology offers maximum fine filtration levels of 99.5% at 12 micron, in line with ISO 4548\/12, thanks to the <strong>UFI Multilayer HD filter media<\/strong> consisting of <strong>a layer containing glass fibre <\/strong>combined with <strong>a cellulose-based layer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>combination of two filtering layers in one medium is typical of the UFI Multilayer HD solution<\/strong> which offers the best compromise between high durability and filtering efficiency. It\u2019s important to highlight that high oil filter efficiency helps to reduce engine component wear.<\/p>\n<p>The technical solution of the module designed for Kamaz is complemented by UFI Filters by a <strong>wax element thermostatic valve<\/strong>, assembled on the aluminium base, to ensure that low pressure drops are maintained during ignition &#8211; when the oil temperature can be very low. The thermostatic valve directs the oil flow towards the two filters when the oil does not need to be cooled, or conversely, to the heat exchanger when the oil temperature is above optimum
